I use a collaborative, client-centered approach, in which the client leads the session. I believe trust and safety lay the foundation for building the therapeutic relationship. Clients may say that I am empathic and supportive. I am culturally sensitive and focus on family systems as appropriate.
I enjoy creating a safe space and allowing clients to feel seen and heard. It is also imperative to create a space for diverse clients who may struggle to find a counsellor that meets their specific needs.
