We seek volunteers with a wide range of skills and experience for a limited number of Board positions. Previous board and governance experience is desirable but not essential. Last year, OneSky was pleased to implement a Board Development Mentee position for people who are interested in becoming a board member but are not quite ready to take on the full role. It’s a great way to bring on candidates in development who want to learn more about OneSky as a whole, as well as board governance.
The OneSky Community Resources Board provides vision and strategic direction to over 40 diverse social and health programs in South Okanagan Similkameen communities. OneSky also partners with other community organizations to provide housing and health services.
We welcome those from all parts of our community and particularly encourage people from our smaller communities, First Nations, and rural areas to apply.
Please indicate your interest by submitting a completed application form, in confidence, by March 31, 2025 to Marsha.Lacroix@OneSkyCommunity.com.
