Nature of Position
OneSky Childcare offers a continuum of group licensed childcare options for children birth to 12 years, including children with special needs. We are looking for a quality part-time staff to join the OneSky Childcare team to supervise children and implement programs for school-aged children. Full-time hours are available from July to August. Duties include always ensuring a healthy and safe environment, preparing, and leading activities, guiding children with interpersonal relationships and problem-solving, encouraging children to accomplish goals and make positive choices and maintaining good communication with staff, families, and children.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have completed or be willing to complete the Responsible Adult Certification. A diploma in Early Childhood Education or Child and Youth Care would be an asset.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
- Standard First Aid and CPR would be an asset
- Food Safe Certification would be an asset
